Retreat

Wouldn't your heavy heart relish a quiet, peaceful retreat in the woods or by the lake? Isn't it time to schedule some self-care? Are you ready to join us?


Good Grief will soon be offering "grief retreats" for those who need it. We are in the very painstaking process of finding the perfect spot, with the perfect environment and the perfect agenda.


Ideas and suggestions are welcome. You may comment here.



A sample schedule would be something like this:


* Friday evening check-in through Sunday noon check-out:


lodging and activities such as the group sessions and extras that may be available (canoeing? hiking? etc.).

* Gathering/opening on Friday - meet and greet around 6 p.m.

* Saturday, 9 a.m. - first session: readings and discussion (guided meditation)

* Saturday, 1 p.m. - 2nd session: guest speaker

* Saturday, 3 p.m. - 3rd session: art therapy

* Saturday evening campfire after dinner (instruments? songs? ghost stories?)

* Sunday, 10 a.m. - closing: reading, guided meditation

* Noon lunch and so long


All the open times are purposeful so that you can enjoy the surroundings and have some quiet times.
